Blessings

Happy 2018! We just finished a time of the year where we received a lot of gifts from friends and family. We often do not keep these gifts in prospective. We need not forget what James tells us in chapter 1 verse 17, “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” It’s true that God the Father might not have given these gifts directly, but he has giving us the opportunity to provide for our families, the church, clothe ourselves, provide shelter and even give gifts to one another for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and various other events. During this season of giving and thanking, please do not forget to thank God. Thank Him for the people that are in your life, thank Him for your family, the people who taught you the Gospel, the opportunity to teach the Gospel, and for eternal life that is only found in Jesus! I pray you are overjoyed with what has been giving to you; so much that you can’t help but share Jesus with everyone around you. I love you all!

In His service,
