Is Your Obedience Seen?

“Is Your Obedience Seen?”
2 Chronicles 15
In 2 Chronicles 15, Scripture records the prophet Azariah warning King Asa. He demanded that Asa and all Judah listen to him. Do we expect people to listen when we speak from God’s word today? Azariah warned them of the consequences of disobedience and used Israel’s history as an example. We, too, should look at the examples of religions and churches that follow the world rather than God and take warning.
Asa listened, and he “took courage” (v. 8). He removed all the idols from Judah. His obedience was so visible that even those from Israel—the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon—saw it, left their land, and came to Jerusalem.
Jesus commands us, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
So let me ask: Is our obedience so bold, so visible, so uncompromising that people are leaving false religion to join the true one?
I love you all!
